why Karnali Province is Our Covred Area ?

Karnali Province is home to many communities that have faced years of social and economic inequality, limited access to education, health, and basic services. As KNFID, being born and registered in this region (in Kalikot), we feel a deep connection and responsibility toward these places. We believe the people here deserve fair opportunities, support, and a chance for a dignified life. That’s why we chose Karnali as our primary area of work. We come from this region. We know its geography, its communities, their culture, and their struggles firsthand. That gives us a unique insight into what kind of support is really needed, whether in education, health, environment, or social justice. Working in Karnali allows us to design and implement solutions that truly fit local needs, rather than one-size-fits all fixes  “Karnali Province reflects many of the inequalities that exist in Nepal: limited access to services, fewer opportunities, environmental vulnerability, and social exclusion. As a non-profit dedicated to combating injustice and inequality, KNFID sees this as our core mission. By covering Karnali, we are aligning our values with our actions, giving voice to the voiceless, and working toward inclusion, equity, and fairness.
